Description

Louis XV, Paris around 1735

The richly curved console table is made of Iime wood and richly carved. It is engraved on all sides and has largely retained its original gilding. The legs end in an elaborate central bar on which a winged dragon rests between shells.

The original marble slab shows a green, dark red veining and artfully takes up the curve of the console with its profiles.

Height 85.5 cm, width 130 cm, depth 60 cm.
