Attributed to the Parisian Ebenist André-Antoine Lardin
(1724-1790, Master 1750). The
cambered, two-part corpus "sans traverse"
with front corner studs accentuated by applications
is finely inlaid at the front and sides with
partly dyed and engraved royal, rose,
Box, maple and satin wood. The central
Cartridge shows a detailed still life from
musical instruments between curved
Flower twigs. With the original, restored
Brèche d'Alep marble plate and fire gilded
Bronze appilactions.
