A stepped base with a trefoil stem, the top with four strongly curved, branch-like candelabra arms, bud-like spouts with leaf-like eaves bowls, richly decorated in relief with shellwork. Silver. The foot rim stamped with a crescent moon, crown, fineness ''800'', picture mark S under crossed hammers and the name of the jeweller Moritz Elimeyer, Dresden. H. 50.5 cm; total 5,860 g.
