Pianoforte "modello viennese"
Milan, around 1820
Body entirely painted in polychrome on curved legs with rocailles, cartouches with genre scenes and animal motifs, surrounded by rocailles and floral decoration, on lid copy of the "Charlatan" by Giovanni Domenico Tiepolo from 1756, inside shepherd's scene on the lakeside in Camaïeu-Purple. Ivory keyboard for 6 octaves (73 keys). Wood, polychrome painted. Adhesive label of the dealer Pio Franzini on the soundboard. 223 x 121 x 97 cm. - Signs of age. - Original painting of the inner lid, the painting of the outer surfaces later. - Due to the current provisions, an export in third countries will not be granted for objects made of ivory, tortoise shell or rhinoceros horn; the sale within the European Community is unrestricted.
