(Nuremberg 1829-1907 ibid.) The scene is the corridor on the 2nd floor of the Nuremberg town hall with the sculptured ceiling, depicting the Gesellenstechen; it shows the moment when Karl von Krämer steps out of the small town hall hall in his function as registrar and is congratulated on his 70th birthday by his party colleagues gathered there. Oil on canvas. Signed and dated in full lower left ''1888''. 54 x 43,5 cm. - Restored. - Provenance: Nuremberg private collection. The painting was an exhibit in the exhibition of the Art Collections in the Museum of Industrial Culture 2007.
