Sitting Bodhisattva Guanyin
China, Ming Dynasty - 16th/17th century
Sitting in a lotus position (padmasana) on a plinth, wearing a richly ornamented robe, decorated with jewellery chains and a forehead tiara, holding an Amitabha Buddha, a vessel and a willow branch in his hands. Bronze with remains of gilding over red lacquer. H. 26 cm.
