Probably Berlin or Potsdam, around 1765

Bronze, chased, original fire gilded. With moved, artfully curved arms, whose light plates are held by dragon heads. The candlesticks are reminiscent of figural carvings and decorations from the workshop of Johann Melchior Kambyls (Zurich 1718-1782/83 Potsdam), whose sculptural works were instrumental in the development of the Friderician Rococo.
