Description

A particularly beautiful and rare combination of cut crystal glass and gold-plated bronze and metal mounts, which can be attributed to the “Electoral Mirror Grinding and Polishing Manufactory”, the so-called “Spiegelschleife” in Dresden.

On the crown of the ceiling with glass droplets hanging all the way round, three chains hold the large glass lamp with notched cut decoration and the curved candlestick arms with plastic ram heads. Comparable luxurious lamps from the Dresden factory were presented several times in the “Journal des Luxus und der Moden” and advertised as “excellent lighting for a boudoir”.

Height 80 cm.
