Description

From the possession of the Princes of Liechtenstein.

Around 1760

Smooth barrel, calibre 16 mm, with iron front sight, relief-cut and partly gilded cartouche above the chamber, with trophy bundles, figures and animals between rocaille decorations. Flintlock with rare cock safety device, the walnut half stock floral carved and with cut and partly gilded iron fittings. Wooden loading pole with horn dopper added. Marked at the flintlock "MILD", at the lock counterplate "IB" and under the piston plate stock monogram "MD".
